A MESSAGE FROM OUR TEAM:
Recently, there has been an uprising in this country the likes of which we’ve never before seen. Communities of all different backgrounds, races, classes, and religion have come together to heed the calls from the African American community for an end to police brutality and racial inequality. While the COVID-19 pandemic has ravaged through our country in recent months, taking thousands of innocent lives in the process, the ongoing racial injustice towards the African American community is a pandemic that has plagued us for far longer, and at Educove we understand the need for us as a society to promote change.

Engrave these names into your memory. We will not allow them to be forgotten. We will not allow their deaths to be in vain. For 400 grueling years, African Americans have been systematically oppressed and prejudiced against, dating all the way back to the first British settlements. The time for us to stand together in the fight against racial injustice is long overdue. The color of one’s skin should not be used as a means to discriminate. We are all humans, bound together by the blood that gives us life, and the voice to enact change.
George Floyd’s unjustifiable death may have been the tipping point that our country has needed, but the stripping away of African American life by police officers has been occurring for decades. The fact that it took an instance of police brutality so abhorrent in nature to finally open the eyes of our country is inexcusable. There have been hundreds of George Floyds in the past, just without a video to so vividly display the unjust brutality as it took place.
Enough is enough. You may or may not be a person of color, but we must all come together. This is the only way that true progress can be made.
